Tergar Indonesia - a representative of the Tergar Meditation Community

Tergar consists of two syllables: “Ter” and “Gar.”

Ter means precious, treasure, referring to the wisdom and methods that lead to the easing of suffering, the activation of one’s highest potential, and ultimately the attainment of complete liberation.
Gar means gathering or assembly, referring to a place where people come together to discover these precious teachings, or to the coming together of causes and conditions that make this transformative process of discovery possible.

Tergar Indonesia is a representative of the Tergar Meditation Community.

The mission of Tergar Indonesia is to make meditation practice accessible and relevant to the modern world. For centuries, meditation has been used by countless individuals to transform difficulty into happiness and confusion into wisdom. Tergar Study and Meditation Centers are designed to support and facilitate this transformation.

Under the guidance of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, a teacher widely known for his ability to make meditation practice accessible to people from many different backgrounds, Tergar Meditation Centers around the world offer a wide range of comprehensive classes for learning and practicing meditation, with programs for both Buddhist and non-Buddhist practitioners.
