What Is the Path of Liberation?
The Path of Liberation is an experiential meditation path for those who wish to practice the Buddhist teachings under the guidance of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche. Building on the foundational teachings of Joy of Living, and incorporating the essential practices of the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism, the Path of Liberation presents a series of meditation techniques from the Mahamudra and Dzogchen traditions designed to remove the causes of suffering and reveal the luminous awareness that underlies all experience.
There are two options within the Path of Liberation, each designed for different circumstances. The first path is based on a short practice liturgy written by Mingyur Rinpoche called Nectar of the Path, and is intended for those who have about 30–60 minutes for daily meditation practice. The second path is based on the traditional ngondro liturgy called The Chariot for Traveling the Noble Path. This option is suitable for those who are able to practice between one and two hours each day. Both paths culminate in the practice of the White Tara sadhana written by Mingyur Rinpoche, titled Radiance of the Heart.
Who Is the Path of Liberation For?
The Path of Liberation is for those who feel inspired to follow the Buddhist teachings as their main spiritual path, and especially for those who feel drawn to the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism and to the way these teachings are presented by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche.
